I have two adorable King Charles puppies available to kind, loving homes.

1 Handsome Prince
1 Perfect Princess

I chose to not advertise the puppies until they turned 8 weeks old. I made the decision to do this as I felt it was the kindest thing to do to ensure mummy dog and puppies have enjoyed a settled and calm first 8 weeks together. It has also been important to me to be responsible in all ways when caring for a litter and part of that was to ensure each puppy received a full veterinary health check prior to new home falling in love with their chosen puppy.

Health Care Received

Each puppy has received drontal puppy wormer at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks, a frontline flea prevention treatment, a microchip, a full veterinary health check and the first vaccination of the Nobivac L4 immunisation course.

Diet

The puppies were gently weaned from their mother’s milk from 6-8 weeks and transitioned to a balanced diet of BETA puppy kibble, nature’s menu puppy food nuggets and boiled diced chicken breast. They really enjoy their food!

Personalities

They both have sweet, gentle temperaments. They love cuddles and exploring our home now that they have become more independent from mummy dog.

Social Development

Puppies have been well socialised with members of my family and close friends.

They are used to daily household noises and activities.

They have seen our family cat wandering about although haven’t had any direct contact with him as he is a bit old and antisocial and avoids them!

They are doing well with their toilet training, we are giving them lots of positive reinforcement to help with this. I’m certain once they’re allowed outside following their second vaccinations with their new homes they will be toilet trained almost immediately.

Parents

Mother dog is my beautiful 3 year old King Charles named Ember.
Ember is the more traditional type of the breed with there being the toy types and the traditional type. This means she does not have the extremely short nose and is slightly larger than the toy breed types you might associate with the idea of a King Charles. Having the traditional confirmation is much better for the puppy’s health as it avoids the common eye and breathing issues (brachycephalic) inherent with the toy breed type King Charles.
Ember is KC registered and this is her first / will be her only litter. She is hereditarily clear for DNA diseases (her mother and father were DNA tested) and her own father was also BVA heart tested clear and eye tested clear.
I decided to breed Ember as I wanted a second dog for myself and also a puppy for my grandmother so having a litter seemed like the perfect answer as Ember is such an amazing girl who we love to bits. It has been an amazing experience to have the pitter patter of tiny paws running around my bedroom for the past few weeks and I'm going to really miss the puppies so would love to keep in touch with new homes please...

Father dog is a friend’s KC registered, DNA tested Ruby King Charles. He is a friendly character, loves running about in the woods and is lots of fun and loving, constantly leaving the children in giggles when we visit and playing in the garden, indoors he is a complete lap dog and peaceful calm personality. He is slightly smaller than mum with a slightly shorter nose and confirmation a little more of the toy type King Charles so puppies will be somewhere between the traditional and the toy breed type in appearance once fully grown.
