Description
Our 5 year old dog Rex is a big friendly giant and deserves so much more love in life than I can give him now. I've had a turn for ill health over the past few years and all my energy needs to go on my two young children. My partner works full time and it's not fair on him, Rex, to be couped up all day while he waits for him to get home.
As you can see in the photos he is a big cuddly bear of a dog and he's great with kids. Hes actually a bit of a wimp though and thinks other dogs, even little ones are going to get him. So he really needs to go to a single dog home. Preferably someone who can handle such a big strong dog. He loves kids. Just not other dogs. Makes a great guard dog because he looks and barks scary but if you meet him you'll realise he's actually a softy.
He is a lazy dog and loves lounging around watching tele. But he does love his crate and is a little ocd about organising it. He is happy to be left in and won't make a mess. But when you get in he does like to go play outside. He pretends he's not ready to go to the toilet because he wants to keep you outside to play. Hes sneaky. Hes such a loving dog. Maybe not the brightest, bless him, but he has a big heart. I really will miss him but I think its better for him and I just don't have the energy since becoming ill.
