Description
It breaks my heart to write this, but I am looking to rehome my dog due to safety concerns.
He is a blue male French Bulldog, 3 years old on the 18th April. He has witnessed domestic violence in the past, which has affected his confidence and behaviour. As a result, he is anxious around children and men and does not cope well in unpredictable or busy environments.
Does not get on with other dogs or cats!
Recently, he bit my daughter. She is safe, but this incident has made it clear that he cannot remain in a home with children.
He would be best suited to an experienced, adult-only home, ideally with someone who understands trauma-affected dogs and is committed to ongoing training and behaviour support. With patience, consistency, and the right guidance, he has the potential to continue improving.
He is not destructive and does not chew or damage the home when left alone. In the right calm and stable environment, he can form strong bonds once he feels safe.
This has been an extremely difficult decision, but my priority is ensuring everyone’s safety while giving him the chance of a more suitable and peaceful home.
He won’t just be going to anybody, they need to be well suited that meets his needs.
