Description

Puppies will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. All prospective owners will be fully vetted beforehand, and once approved, the puppy will be reserved for the first person to place their deposit.

**GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPIES – CHESHUNT, HERTFORDSHIRE**

**Ready to leave:** From 30th November 2026, when they are **8 weeks old**. Puppies will not leave Mum before they are 8 weeks old.

Purebred, KC registered Golden Retriever puppies in a mixture of beautiful golden shades, from lighter/whiter to darker golds.

**MUM – EVENING BLOSSOM, KNOWN AS BLOSSOM**

Born 5th June 2023. Blossom is our much-loved family dog and this is her first litter. She has a lovely temperament, is well socialised and well behaved, and was previously an assistant dog. She has at least two walks every day and is fed high-quality freshly prepared food, with suitable changes between raw and pre-made food where appropriate. Blossom will be present during puppy viewings.

Blossom is fully insured and has the following health results:

**PREGNANCY, BIRTH & PUPPY CARE**

The breeding, pregnancy and birth have been professionally supported by Pawtility Clinic, including breeding assistance, progesterone blood tests, cytology, pregnancy monitoring, labour/birth support, microchipping, vaccinations and additional veterinary care and advice. We highly recommend Pawtility Clinic for mating and pregnancy support.

The puppies remain with Mum and on her milk while young. They are weighed regularly to monitor healthy growth and are constantly monitored. We are putting lots of time and care into early socialisation, including appropriate handling, experiences and introductions to different sights and sounds. When old enough and appropriate, we also plan to take part in puppy yoga as part of their socialisation. Toilet training will be started before they leave, although they will not be expected to be fully toilet trained at 8 weeks.

**CHOOSING YOUR PUPPY & VIEWINGS**

Viewings can begin from when puppies are at least 1 week old, subject to welfare and arrangements, and Blossom will be present.

Because newborn puppies are blind and deaf for approximately their first two weeks, it is difficult to judge their individual personalities at the beginning. As they grow, their characteristics and temperaments become clearer, and we will help match each puppy to the type of temperament and dog you are looking for.

For security and the welfare of the puppies, viewings are only for people who are genuinely interested, understand the time, commitment and responsibility involved in owning a Golden Retriever, and are seriously considering providing a lifelong home. ID will be required at visits.

We will ask prospective owners questions about their circumstances and what they can offer a puppy. This is simply to ensure each puppy is placed in a suitable home. Please feel free to ask us questions too and carry out your own checks.

**HOMES**

Local homes are preferred so we can keep in contact and, where possible, arrange visits as the puppies grow. We will consider families further away where they are able to keep in regular contact and provide updates on their puppy's welfare and progress.

We want every puppy to have a loving, secure and committed lifelong home.

Owners will be expected to maintain lifetime insurance, vaccinations, flea/worming and other preventative care, appropriate veterinary treatment, training, exercise, socialisation, good nutrition and companionship.

**DEPOSIT, PRICE & CONTRACT**

A deposit is required to reserve a chosen puppy. The price reflects the extensive time, professional care, health testing, veterinary support and other expenses involved in raising this litter.

Price and terms are non-negotiable. The remaining balance must be paid in full on collection day. A contract/purchase agreement will be completed for every puppy.

As a professional pet carer offering boarding, walking, grooming and other animal care, I am also happy to look after one of our puppies in the future if needed.

We absolutely adore these puppies and want them to go to homes prepared to give them the love, time, training, care and commitment they deserve throughout their lives.
