French Bull dog for rehoming

Description

This is Bert and I am looking for an outstanding home for my boy, can anyone provide this boy with EVERYTHING he needs?

This has been a seriously hard decision, and has been made with a broken heart - so please be kind. This is through absolutely no fault of the doggo.

Key facts:
🐾 Just turned 2
🐾 Fully intact male
🐾 Used to living with older children
🐾 Used to living with 1 other Frenchie
🐾 Very Anxious & fearful
🐾 Allergic to Chicken

He is honestly one of the most loving, affectionate and needy little dogs I've ever met. He absolutely adores being with his people and just wants love, cuddles and attention.

On walks he is highly reactive to other dogs and can come across as aggressive, but this is driven by fear rather than malice. He needs someone who understands anxious dogs and is willing to put the time, patience and training into helping him realise that the world isn't as scary as he thinks it is.

Because of his anxiety, he would need:
🐾 A calm, quiet home
🐾 Older children or an adult-only home
🐾 Someone committed to continuing his training and building his confidence. Also with experience in dealing with an anxious dog.
🐾 A home where his chicken allergy can be managed (he is fine with other proteins).

He isn't a "perfect" dog, but he is the most wonderful, loving little soul. He just needs someone willing to see past his fears and help him become the happy, confident dog he deserves to be.

This isn't about finding him any home – it's about finding him the right home. This decision will not be rushed, and he will only go to the very best home.
