Description
I am looking for a loving, experienced home for my two female Dachshunds, aged 5/ 6. This has been a very difficult decision, , together or seperately but due to ongoing health issues I am no longer able to give them the care, time, and consistency they need and deserve.
Both dogs are full of personality, affectionate with people they know, and enjoy being close to their owners. They are typical Dachshunds in that they are loyal, alert, and can be very loving companions.
I want to be completely honest and transparent — they do have some behavioural challenges. They can be reactive at times (for example with other dogs / strangers / certain situations — I can provide full details), and they will need an experienced, patient owner who understands the breed and is willing to continue working with them.
Because of this, they would be best suited to: • An adult-only home or with older, dog-savvy children
• Someone with experience of Dachshunds or similar breeds
• A calm, structured environment
• Ideally a home where they are not left alone for long periods
They are not suitable for a busy or first-time dog household.
I will provide full details of their routines, behaviour, likes/dislikes, and any support I can to help them settle.
