Description

This is incredibly hard to write, but I want to be completely honest to find the right home. Sully is a loving, affectionate young dog who has attached very strongly to me. He is playful, people-focused and eager for connection. We have not had him long. Unfortunately, despite our best intentions, our household setup has turned out not to be the right environment for him. We already have an older dog, and the night-time disruption, toileting accidents and constant supervision required have significantly impacted my health, sleep and wellbeing. Sully is still very much a puppy and will need: – consistent training – a structured routine – patience with house training – someone who can manage his energy and attachment needs I can tell before us Sully has not been walked consistently, he is anxious in busier areas, however he is amazing in open areas and off lead - he wants to be close so his recall is great for his age. We have worked hard to perfect some basic commands. He has experience with children but no concept of different sizes, example he thinks our 4 year old will play the same as our 6ft 4" 18 year old son. Sully loves a cuddle and has many calm moments. Sully will require grooming as his hair gets wild (shown in pic with green behind him) however I groom both dogs with no previous experience, so if you're confident I can recommend what to buy. This decision is being made early because we believe it is kinder to find him a home that can fully meet his needs, rather than pushing on while overwhelmed. Potential to be the bestest boy, I just was naive in my own capacity. He deserves stability, time and an owner who can give him everything he needs without compromise. We will only consider a loving, suitable home and are happy to answer any questions honestly.
