Description
Alfie is a gentle, affectionate family dog who sadly needs a new home due to a change in my circumstances. I am moving from a three‑bedroom house to a one‑bedroom flat, and because of my age I can no longer manage the long walks and daily care he loves. I have no one who can help me, so this is a very difficult but necessary decision.
⭐ About Alfie
- Family‑friendly: Alfie has grown up with a two‑year‑old and an eighteen‑year‑old and is calm, patient, and loving with children of all ages.
- Good with cats: He currently lives with my cat, and they get along perfectly well. He is gentle, respectful, and used to sharing his home with another animal.
- Loves walks & play: His favourite things in the world are long walks and playing with his ball.
- Gentle nature: He can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but once he knows you he becomes very affectionate and loyal.
- Good with other dogs: Alfie is friendly with other dogs. He may be a bit unsure at first, but he relaxes quickly around calm, gentle dogs.
- Home‑trained: He is well‑behaved in the house and enjoys being part of family life.
⭐ Background
I originally took Alfie in to keep him safe after his previous owner went to prison. He has been loved and well cared for ever since. Rehoming him is heartbreaking, but I want him to have the space, exercise, and attention he deserves.
⭐ The Home He Needs
Alfie would suit a loving home where he can enjoy regular walks, playtime, and companionship. He would be perfect for a family or someone who enjoys being outdoors and wants a loyal, gentle companion. He can happily live with another calm dog or a cat.
