9 month old spaniel cross staffie

Remy came into my care two months ago very unexpectedly. Unfortunately due to prior commitments and an unstable health condition, I am unable to permanently meet his needs. In the short time I have had him, he has been neutered, practiced recall and basic commands. I don't know much about his history but he is very anxious surrounding food and will, at any opportunity, steal meals/food from counters etc. He has shown no food aggression though and currently is living with two other dogs. He wasn't walked by his previous owner and spent almost all of the time in a crate so he does have anxiety surrounding crates (specifically being left at home alone in one), however, I have been reconditioning him so he will sleep through the night in a crate. He does sleep in the same room as my other dog and this helps him settle. He is vaccinated and microchipped. He loves children and other dogs. I'm not sure how he would be around cats or other small animals but he does like to chase birds. He's very affectionate and will make the perfect companion for the right person. He requires a lot of exercise and would benefit from more command training. He is a springer spaniel cross staffie and he is 9 months old. Please contact for any additional information.
