6-Monthnold staffy mix

Description

Astra is a 6-month-old blue tri female Staffy mix who is now looking for a new, loving home.

She is truly a little ray of sunshine — Astra loves everyone and everything. She is fantastic with other dogs, cats, and absolutely adores children. Her friendly, open nature makes her a joy to have around, and she has the classic Staffy personality: affectionate, eager to please, and full of heart.

Despite her young age, Astra is already very well trained. She is fully house-trained and knows a wide range of commands, including:
Sit, down, off, wait, stay, touch, here, come, twist (spin), paw, up (dance), and heel. Astra is also crate trained, she stays in her crate during the night with no problem. She learns new commands quickly and is incredibly clever.

Astra can be left alone for short periods — she may whine briefly at first, but then settles down and sleeps.
She enjoys long walks and playing ball in the park. Due to her excitement and curiosity, she currently needs to stay on lead, as she happily runs to greet everyone when off-lead. Her recall is good, but distractions can still get the better of her — something that will continue to improve with age and consistent training. A 10-meter training lead will be included.

She is an incredibly loving, smart, and joyful dog who will make a wonderful companion for the right family. We are looking for a home that will continue her training, give her plenty of love, and see her as a lifelong family member.
