2 Year Old Border Collie

Description

With extremely heavy hearts, we are looking to find a loving new home for our beautiful Border Collie.

This is not a decision we ever imagined having to make, but since December she has shown increasing aggression towards our other dogs in the home, and she can also be reactive towards dogs when out on walks. Because of this, we feel she would be happiest and safest as the only dog in the household.

When she is on her own, she is the most loyal, affectionate and loving companion you could ask for. She absolutely adores her humans, loves spending time with people, enjoys walks in secure fields, and is equally happy curling up on the sofa for hours beside you. She forms very strong bonds and has so much love to give.

She is currently on Reconcile prescribed by our vets and this must not be stopped without veterinary guidance and consent.

She is also due her second booster vaccination on 5th June due to the change from Lepto2 to Lepto4. This appointment has already been paid for and can be completed at our vets.

We are looking for a home:
• With no other dogs
• With no small children
• With someone experienced with Border Collies or reactive dogs
• Who can give her the understanding, patience and structure she needs

We truly believe that in the right environment, as an only dog, she can thrive and live the happy life she deserves.

If we didn’t have other dogs and small children, this is not a decision we would be making. We love her deeply and finding the right home is the absolute priority for us.
