Description
One year old male shihtzu with the most lovely temperament with his owners and our other dog. He is completely house trained, and will go 'wee wee's' if he needs to on command. He's highly trainable and eager to learn as he loves to please, and moreover, loves his treats!
He loves walks and can be let off in an open area, staying close to you. Recall works when there are no distractions, still working on distraction Recall.
The problem we have, and the reason for needing a new five star home, is our 10 year old shihtzu has issues with resource guarding & anxiety, which was easily managed when she was a lone dog, but is now causing huge issues. She's having behavioural therapy, but it isn't a quick fix, and her warnings are reaching a point where I feel something bad is going to happen, and I'd never forgive myself.
I adore this dog. He is absolutely lovely, but for his best interests, I need to find him a new very loving home.
He is up to date with his vaccinations and vet prescribed flea & worm treatments. He's recently just been groomed and will come with all his creature comforts.
He needs a home that will have plenty of time for him. He doesn't mind small dogs, but doesn't like big dogs & he isn't a fan of cats at all. He adores our other dog, but she doesn't feel the same way, which is quite sad, but I do think he'd really appreciate a home with another small dog in it.
He is on Naturo wet & dry food, and loves all food.
He deserves nothing but the best home, and will be the most loving companion in return.
