💔 Heartbreaking Rehoming Post – My Boy Needs the Right Home

This is honestly breaking my heart to write, but I need to think about what’s best for him.

I’ve had him since he was 12 weeks old, and he’s now around 4 and a half. He’s a clever, loving, energetic, soft-hearted boy who truly just wants to be close to people. He loves being outside, loves playtime, and has such a big, gentle personality.

He’s generally a really good dog — but like any dog, he has his ways. He can bark sometimes, especially when anxious, and he can even open normal doors (not the front door!). He’s okay with other dogs, good in the car, and he’s fine off the lead, though he might run off thinking it’s a game. He’s full of energy and has so much life in him.

Unfortunately, since moving into this flat, things have become very difficult. My last property had disrepair issues, and because of family circumstances I ended up with another dog as well. This flat is simply too small, and the situation is becoming overwhelming.

He struggles when left alone here — he whines and barks, and I’m getting into trouble over the noise. I live on my own, and it’s becoming really hard to manage. I am waiting for a more suitable property with a garden, but it’s taking much longer than expected, and I don’t want him to continue struggling in the meantime.

This is not a decision I ever wanted to make, but I want him to have the stability, space, and peace he deserves.

💛 Ideal Home for Him:
• Someone home often or works from home
• A house with a garden or plenty of outdoor space
• Someone patient and experienced with anxious or energetic dogs
• A calm, stable environment
• Someone who will love him for the soft, playful boy he is

He’s a big softy, loves people, loves being outside, and just wants a home where he can relax and be himself again.

If you think you can offer him the loving, stable home he needs, please message me. This is the hardest decision, but I want what’s truly best for him. 💛🐾
