Description
This lovely gateau/cake plate is vintage thus collectible. It is by the renowned British company Royal Worcester. As with all similar plates it has a completely flat surface and is slightly raised.
This particular example is from the 'Gold Chantilly' range - produced from 1963 to 1985. It is basically white in colour and has a classy scroll pattern in gold colour round the circumference of the plate just inside the edge. It has the stamp of authenticity along with a number to the base (see pics). It is 11"/28cm in diameter.
It would make an attractive and functional addition to any collection of either Royal Worcester china or cake plates in any style of home.
It is in immaculate/mint condition. From a smoke free house. Buyer can collect from Chepstow, Monmouthshire or Brixham or Totnes in Devon at an agreed time or I will happily package and post for the associated costs. Needs to go asap so all sensible offers will be considered.
