Vintage Danish Mid-Century Extending Dining Table – Made in Denmark

Description

A beautiful vintage Danish mid-century extending dining table, stamped “Made in Denmark” underneath. A really striking Scandinavian design with a warm timber finish, rounded tabletop edges and an elegant sculptural pedestal base with curved feet. The table features extension leaves at either end, allowing it to be enlarged considerably when needed. There are latch mechanisms underneath on both sides, which secure the table/extension sections firmly into position. The rounded edges and gently curved ends give it a particularly attractive profile, while the pedestal-style base leaves plenty of usable space around the table for dining chairs. Stamped “MADE IN DENMARK” underneath. A fantastic piece for a mid-century modern, Scandinavian, Danish modern or contemporary interior.
