ITALIAN EXTENDING DINING TABLE BY CALIGARIS

Description

Lovely, high quality extending dining table in very good condition made by the Italian craftsmen at Caligaris in walnut finish with a luxurious black glass table top.
Relatively compact in everyday use at just 130cm x 90cm, comfortably accommodating 6 diners. However, that extends to a whopping 230cm when the extension is rolled out via the simple and smooth roller mechanism – almost doubling in size.
When extended, it accommodates 10 diners in comfort, although we’ve seated 12 family during the odd busy Christmas dinner!
The design of the table has the 4 legs at each corner, so there’s plenty of legroom underneath with none of the overly complex tangle of legs/supports you find on most current tables which only serve to crack the shins and knees of you and your guests . . .
The six matching high-backed, comfortable dining chairs are also by Caligaris and finished in brown leatherette in excellent condition (thanks to being covered during everyday use) and sit on walnut legs.
Chair dimensions are: - height – 95cm, width – 50cm, depth – 51cm.
This whole set cost around £3,500 when new, so it’s sensibly priced for those in need of a larger dining table but maybe finding a brand new one a bit of a stretch at the moment – but then again, this is one you definitely CAN have in by Christmas . !
Collection only – you’ll need a van and some willing muscle to help . . !
