Skovby extending table (with hidden leaf mechanism) & 4 chairs

Description

This is a beautiful Danish pedestal table by Skovby with internal leaf storage and a clever, easy to operate extending mechanism.

The set was purchased from Gillies of Broughty Ferry in 2008 for £1990 and has been treated with care. There is a small mark on the surface of the table, as seen in the 5th photo (tape measure beside it to make the size of it clear) - it's not noticeable unless looking closely. The centre leaf is paler than the rest of the table, as with all tables where the leaf isn't in daily use. The chairs are upholstered in a muted blue fabric.

It is so simple to extend the table and return to original size it can easily be done by one person as shown in the videos (Youtube links at the end of the ad).

Seats 4-6 without extension, 6-8 with extension

Happy to include leatherette, table protector with fleece backing if wished, as well as two blue tablecloths, one for without the extension and one for when the table is extended.
