Kesterport 'Gorgona' Travertine Dining Table, 8 Chairs & Matching Console

Description

Stunning, high-end 1998 Kesterport 'Gorgona' Solid Travertine 10-Piece Dining Room Suite.

Purchased new in 1998 from the prestigious luxury showroom Chaplins of London, this luxury collection perfectly captures late-90s Italian-inspired soft minimalism. It blends raw geological warmth with clean, architectural lines.

It has served us beautifully, and we are only selling now due to an upcoming house move. We would love to sell this as a complete matching room suite, but we may consider splitting the console table for the right offer - see ebay listing info below.

⚠️ CRITICAL LOGISTICS & WEIGHT NOTE – PLEASE READ ⚠️

Extremely Heavy Solid Stone: The table and console are genuine, solid Italian travertine stone. They are exceptionally dense and heavy.

Weights: Dining Base c105kg, Dining Top c115kg. Console Base 86kg, Console Top 56kg.

Steps Involved: Navigating this collection involves two half-flights of steps at our property. Two people will NOT be enough to lift these pieces safely.

Collection Requirements: The buyer must arrive with a minimum of 3 to 4 strong individuals with professional lifting straps/blankets, OR hire a certified, fully insured 3-to-4-man specialist furniture courier service (such as via Shiply or AnyVan). We cannot assist with any lifting or carrying. Collection postcode is NN7 2BU.

DIMENSIONS & DETAILS:

1. The Gorgona Dining Table: Substantial, sculptural pedestal base with a beautifully factory-filled, smooth, and sealed travertine top. Perfectly flat and easy to wipe clean.

Dimensions: 200cm (L) x 100cm (W) x 74cm (H)

2. 8 Sabre Dining Chairs:
Solid matt beech with a smooth, clear timber grain. This colourway was a special factory order. Recovered in high-quality cream faux leather. Three chairs have minor cat pinpricks (not highly noticeable), and we are including enough free extra matching fabric to recover four chairs if you wish.

Dimensions: 54cm (W) x 62cm (D) x 106cm (H)

3. The Matching Console Table:
Styled alongside the dining table as a stunning sideboard/statement piece. Geometric travertine base with matching rectangular sealed top.

Dimensions: 160cm (W) x 50cm (D) x 72cm (H)

CONDITION:

Overall in very good, single-owner vintage condition. The sealed stone tops are completely smooth. The dining table has a couple of minor, historic cosmetic repairs along the edges, but these are not at all obvious and do not detract from the beauty of the set.

Please note: As the table has been used and loved in our home, there are some minor black scuffs around the very bottom edge of the stone pedestal base from the hoover, along with some light surface marks on the internal gold supports underneath where we stored our cutlery canteen. These are standard, minor cosmetic signs of use that do not detract from the overall impressive look of the set
