Description
Original heavy-duty industrial school laboratory desk salvaged directly from Peebles High School. Made by Sintacel and installed in 1985. Lasted over four decades and will easily last another four. Photos of original Sintacel brochure from 1980 included for illustrative purposes only.
Featuring a thick, solid 28mm Iroko hardwood top with its original steel frame. Offered in honest, raw reclaimed condition—ready for a light sand and re-oil to suit your space, or use as a rugged workshop desk or kitchen prep table as-is. Chewing gum cleaned off the top, but left on the frame.
Timber Top: Solid Iroko hardwood with light historic school character marks and genuine vintage patina.
Dimensions: 120cm Wide x 60cm Deep x 85cm High.
Frame: Original green structural steel.
Transport: Frame unbolts cleanly via hex bolts and the top unscrews, allowing the entire unit to pack flat for easy transport in standard cars or small vans.
