Van Delivery Driver – Hounslow, Greater London

Description

A full-time delivery driver is required for a distribution company in Hounslow; you will deliver to fast food outlets across London and surrounding areas. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our delivery team, delivering fresh poultry products, drinks and dry goods to customers across the M25 and surrounding areas.

THE ROLE:

Deliver fresh poultry, drinks and dry goods safely and on time to customers.

Load and unload the van and ensure goods are handled carefully.

Follow planned delivery routes and maintain good timekeeping.

Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.

Complete delivery paperwork or electronic delivery records as required.

Keep the vehicle clean and report any vehicle issues promptly.

REQUIREMENTS:

Full, clean UK driving licence suitable for the vehicle being driven.

Previous van driving/delivery experience is preferred.

You will be driving a transit/3.5T van, expected to complete multiple drops to a high standard.

Multi Drop Delivery Driving: 2 years (required).

Good knowledge of the M25, London and surrounding areas is an advantage.

Reliable, punctual and physically fit, as the role involves loading and unloading goods.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Must meet the legal right-to-work/residence requirements for employment in the UK.
