Multi-Drop Delivery Driver (3.5t Fleet) Location: London (Hubs in Southwark SE16 & Bromley-by-Bow)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced, professional Commercial Delivery Drivers to join our final-mile logistics team. This role involves handling high-volume, multi-drop delivery schedules across multiple high-profile client contracts (including major national parcel networks and e-commerce platforms) out of our London distribution hubs.

Pay & Remuneration

Earnings: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour (equivalent to up to £150.00+ per day, depending on contract and route assigned).

Payment Terms: Weekly pay in arrears.

Incentives: Performance-linked bonuses based on efficiency, compliance, and safety metrics.

Strict Entry Requirements

Age: Must be 25 or over (strictly required for fleet insurance purposes). Licence: Must hold a valid Manual UK Driving Licence (automatic-only licences cannot be accepted). Driving Record: Clean licence preferred; maximum of 3 minor points considered. No active major convictions, IN10s, or disqualifications. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of verifiable multi-drop experience driving commercial 3.5t medium/long-wheelbase panel vans (e.g., Transit, Sprinter, NV400). Please Note: Ride-hail, food delivery, or scooter/car courier experience (e.g., Uber, Bolt, Deliveroo) does not meet the criteria for this role. Pre-Employment Screening & Vetting We operate a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding application accuracy. All candidates will undergo rigorous background checks prior to an offer being finalised: Full Reference Checks: Previous commercial driving employment and delivery histories will be thoroughly verified. Background Checks: A clean Basic/Enhanced Basic Disclosure (DBS) criminal record check is mandatory. Fleet Insurance & Incident Checks: Driving records and past transit incident/damage histories will be checked via our insurers. Any undisclosed history, falsification of experience, or previous dismissal for negligence/damage will result in immediate disqualification. Vehicle Care & Professional Development As part of our commitment to maintaining a premium, efficient fleet, all onboarding drivers undergo a mandatory Fleet Familiarisation & Vehicle Care Module. This covers: Fluid & Emission Management: Full training on contract-specific vehicle layouts, including correct fuelling protocols, AdBlue management, and modern diesel system care. Daily Compliance: Best practices for pre-use checks to prevent preventable mechanical downtime and protect fleet assets.

Key Responsibilities

Timely, secure loading, routing, and delivery of high-volume parcel circuits across London. Accurate scanning and logging of deliveries using hand-held devices in line with specific contract requirements. Conducting rigorous daily pre-use vehicle inspections and maintaining flawless vehicle care. Adhering strictly to safe urban driving practices, London transport regulations, and client service SLAs.

Shift Patterns & Availability

We operate a 7-day delivery network. Full-time positions are based on a 4 to 5 day working week, which includes rostered weekend availability on rotation. Standard shifts run between 9 and 10 hours per day, depending on the specific contract route.
