We are a diverse food distribution business supplying hotels, pubs, schools, care homes and restaurants across the midlands and east Anglia with fresh produce and other goods.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated delivery driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily duties.

Must be able to work Saturdays and at least 2- 3 other week days. Candidate must have a manual license and be able to drive a 3.5 ton long wheel base. Start times are around 4.30am.

Duties include,

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transit.

Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.

Assist in warehouse duties as required.

Checking delivery with customers and reporting any shortages.

Must be able to lift up to 25kg.

Experience,

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential. Must have driven a 3.5 ton vehicle.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Hourly Rate - £12.71 per hour

Part time hours available from 25 hours plus. Full time positions may also be available.
