7.5t Delivery Driver - Immediate Start - Portobello, Edinburgh

Description

An immediate start is available for a 7.5t Delivery Driver in Edinburgh. Based at the distribution hub in Portobello, you will deliver bulk retail items and furniture to home addresses with a driver's mate. Key Duties:

- Drive a 7.5 tonne delivery truck safely, completing home delivery routes.

- Liaise and coordinate with your driver's mate to offload heavy furniture products.

- Verify shipping logs, obtain signatures, and provide friendly customer service.

- Perform regular vehicle checks, reporting defects on the transport portal.

Candidate Requirements:

- Valid UK Category C1 driving licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

- No more than 6 penalty points on licence (no active DR or DD codes).

- Physical capability to lift and move heavy home goods up to 30kg.

- Customer-focused approach and professional telephone manner.
