TWO PAIRS OF VINTAGE CHINESE CHOPSTICKS. TRADITIONAL LACQUERED WOOD RED AND GOLD. REUSABLE. SEALED PACKETS

Although these chopsticks can of course be used for their original purpose they are so attractive that they could alternatively simply be displayed as decorative items.

This is a private sale from a pet and smoke free home.

I purchased these chopsticks during a trip to Hong Kong in the 1970’s. As I have many other chopsticks they have remained unused, sealed in their original retail packaging, and have been stored in a clean, dry environment away from sunlight since that time. Consequently they are in excellent as new condition.

These very good quality items have been lacquered and beautifully hand painted in a traditional oriental design. The red and gold colours are considered to be lucky.

Some chopsticks are single use. However, these particular chopsticks have been carefully crafted to ensure they can be reused over and over again.

They should be hand washed with warm soapy water. Please note that they are not dishwasher safe.

As these two pairs of chopsticks are surplus to requirements I have now decided to sell them – as one lot (the advertised price is for both pairs).
