The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Higher Education Quality Team at University College Birmingham as a Student Complaints Administrator for non-academic complaints.

Working with the Deputy Dean for Quality and other staff across the institution you will manage and progress a caseload of complex and sensitive student complaints and appeal matters in accordance with relevant University procedures. This includes acting as Investigating Officer for non-academic complaints, providing advice on the handling of individual student cases, and drafting outcomes and other correspondence.

The successful candidate will have experience of dealing with student complaints and appeals, Higher Education disputes, or comparable work such as complaints-handling, legal or regulatory work, and excellent written and oral communication skills that can be applied to a variety of circumstances and audiences.
