Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple centres across South West England. They are seeking a Vehicle Service Advisor to join their Avonmouth facility. The Vehicle Service Advisor will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and managing the front-of-house operations efficiently.

Greet customers and create a welcoming first impressionBook appointments and manage workshop diaries efficientlyPrepare estimates and gain customer authorisation for workHandle incoming phone calls, email enquiries, and customer queriesPrepare job cards, ensuring accuracy in paperworkCommunicate with the workshop controller and technicians regarding vehicle statusUpdate customers on progress throughout the service processProcess payments and issue invoicesMaintain a tidy and professional reception areaSupport the workshop team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operationsRequirements of the Service Advisor:

Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a busy automotive environment preferredStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levelsExcellent organisational and IT skills; familiarity with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS is advantageousPrevious experience working with commercial vehicles or within the commercial vehicle industry is highly desirableAbility to deliver a high standard of service consistentlyEnthusiastic team player with a professional attitudeThe ideal individual will possess the ability to provide outstanding customer care, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks are essential for success in this role.
