Position: Premises Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Harrow

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Pay Rate: £12.16 - £14.25 Per Hour

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting a dependable and proactive Premises Supervisor to join a Primary School based in Harrow on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong practical skills who can help maintain a safe, secure, and well-presented school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the day-to-day running of the school premises

Assisting with opening and closing the school site

Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs

Conducting regular health and safety checks

Ensuring the site remains clean, tidy, and hazard-free

Supervising cleaning staff and external contractors when required

Setting up rooms and equipment for school activities and events

Monitoring stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies

Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring timely repairs

Assisting with security procedures and emergency protocolsRequirements:

Previous experience in a Premises Supervisor, Caretaker, or Facilities role preferred

Good practical and DIY skills

Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures

Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and flexible

Enhanced DBS check preferredWorking Hours:

Monday to Friday

7:30am to 4:00pm or split shifts if required
