Description

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking experienced candidates for several temporary Patient Service Advisor vacancies within the Boston area. These are full-time positions working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Overview:

The successful candidates will provide a high-quality customer service to patients, supporting with appointment bookings, rescheduling and general enquiries. The roles will involve communicating with patients and healthcare teams and ensuring information is recorded accurately and efficiently

Main Duties:

Handle inbound patient enquiries via telephone and other communication channels, providing clear and helpful information Book and reschedule patient appointments and procedures in line with relevant procedures and guidelines Contact patients regarding appointments, procedures and alternative booking options Manage booking tasks and monitor available appointment capacity Liaise with internal teams and healthcare services to coordinate patient pathways and resolve queries Signpost patients to the appropriate services where required Record patient information and accessibility requirements accurately on relevant systems Escalate issues and concerns appropriately to the Patient Services Supervisor Produce and process relevant correspondence and clinical letters Maintain confidentiality and ensure all information is handled appropriately Prioritise workload effectively while working to deadlines, targets and service requirements Essential Criteria:

Previous experience within a customer service role, preferably within a busy contact centre environment Experienced in handling telephone enquiries Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines Accurate data entry and excellent attention to detail NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience/training Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively with potentially distressed or upset customers DBS clearance If you are interested in this position, please apply with your up-to-date CV.
