Customer Service Retention Specialist (Complaints)

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Customer Service Retention Specialist (Complaints) based in Stockport. The role is a temp to perm role.

The Role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Customer Service Retention Specialist to join their existing complaints team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organisational and communication skills this is the perfect temp to perm role for you!

Key Responsibilities

Complaint Logging

Accurately log all customer complaints and concerns ensuring escalation

Follow up and resolution as needed.

Handling and organising complaint information through different channels and systems.

Actively follow up any complaints to ensure timely and efficient resolution.

£12.24 an hour plus bonus (£25,467, OTE £35,000) Shifts are working 8.00am-5.00pm and 9.00am-6.00pm on a rotational basis and 1 in 5 Saturdays 9am-1.00pm (40 hours a week)

Start date Monday 15th December 2025

The Individual

Previous experience in customer service ideally within a contact centre environment

Excellent communications Skills – verbal and written

Customer first approach

Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities,

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Results-oriented with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience handling objections and turning dissatisfied customers into loyal ones

Empathetic

Persuasive and results driven,

Conflict resolution/negotiation,

Attention to detail.

Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. xjnqpsq

Proficient in using CRM software
