Customer Service Advisor – Preston

Salary: £26,000–£27,000 per annum plus bonus incentives

Contract: Permanent

Location: Preston

Aspired Talent is recruiting an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a supportive and growing team in Preston.

This is a varied, inbound customer service role with no outbound calling or sales calls. You will assist customers through telephone, email and webchat, providing updates and resolving order-related queries professionally and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Responding to customer enquiries by telephone, email and webchat

Locating orders and providing accurate delivery updates

Resolving queries relating to missing, delayed or damaged orders

Liaising with couriers to investigate delivery issues

Updating and managing customer information using internal systems

Recording conversations and maintaining accurate case notes

Managing customer expectations and seeing queries through to resolution

Providing a friendly, helpful and professional service

Working hours

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am–4:00pm

Thursday and Sunday off

What we are looking for

Previous customer service experience

Confident telephone, email and webchat communication skills

Good computer literacy and experience using customer management systems

Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities

A calm and professional approach when handling complaints

Experience xjnqpsq dealing with couriers or order queries would be advantageous

Reliability and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service
