Bridgwater (Full-time office-based during probation, then hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days from home)
Permanent
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (between 8:00am 5:00pm)
Overview
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Care Advisor to join a dynamic team supporting Retail and Specification customers across the UK and Ireland. This role is key to maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring smooth order processing, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries across multiple channels (email, phone, social media) in a professional and timely mannerManage the full order lifecycle using an ERP system, including: Advising on stock availabilityProcessing orders to meet delivery expectationsMonitoring order progressLiaising with couriers and tracking deliveriesCommunicating delays or issues to customersResolving queries and investigations Maintain accurate updates on ongoing orders and projectsHandle customer complaints effectively and professionallyDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of the product portfolioEnsure compliance with company procedures, terms & conditions, and customer agreementsCollaborate with internal teams including Supply Chain and Sales to resolve issues and meet targetsSupport external sales teams and key accountsIdentify service improvement opportunities and contribute to process enhancementsMeet departmental SLAs and performance targetsUndertake additional tasks as required by management Skills & Experience
