Customer Service Advisor – Scunthorpe (Full‑Time, Office‑Based)
Recruiting on behalf of our client
We are supporting a leading waste‑management and recycling provider with the recruitment of a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy Scunthorpe depot. Our client plays a key role in helping businesses manage waste responsibly, sustainably, and efficiently - and exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything they do.

About the Role
As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll be central to ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. Working closely with the Sales and Transport teams, you’ll help deliver a seamless service and maintain strong customer relationships.
Main Responsibilities
Communicating with customers and internal teams via phone and email (inbound and outbound) to resolve queries promptly
Taking bookings and managing service requests
Handling customer concerns and escalating issues where appropriate
Accurately updating internal systems with all relevant information
Supporting wider team operations to ensure the best outcome for customers
General administrative duties as required
Flexibility to support additional tasks during busy periods or staff absence

Previous customer service experience (essential)

Job Details
Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 (40 hours per week, 30‑minute unpaid break)
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Scunthorpe – office‑based
