Description

We are Step Change Outsourcing - a specialist outsource contact centre, based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. With our team of over 200 people, we have all the expertise of a big contact centre with the personal care of a small business.

Our business was founded in 2009, and since then we have established ourselves as experts in delivering sales, retention and customer experience campaigns on the phone and online.

We work with some of the UK's leading brands and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results through our skilled and dedicated team.

We are searching for Customer Service Advisor, where you'll be the first point of contact for customers reaching out about the services provided by Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). This is a key role that requires excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to quickly understand the nuances of our products and services.

Providing a first-rate customer experience when customers contact us is all part of our mission to be the best tenancy deposit scheme in the business, and your exceptional customer service skills will help us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming customer enquiries via phone and email

Deliver exceptional customer service by providing clear, accurate, and timely responses

Accurately log and categorise enquiries to help us gather valuable insight into why customers contact us

Stay up to date with TDS products, services, and processes to offer informed support

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a customer service and administrative role

Confident, articulate communicator with excellent verbal and written skills

Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively as part of a team

Experience in the housing sector is desirable but not essential

Who are Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS)

TDS were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. They now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. In 2022 they also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. TDS are collaborative and forward-thinking with their customers at the heart of everything they do.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: GBP20,150.00-GBP24,603.15 per year
