Description

I am based in Cambridge (UK) and I provide online sessions via zoom or other platforms. I have a Holistic Approach which means that I look at the whole person to see what is going on inside the Mind and the Body.

I hold a qualification in Coaching, and I have years of experience in coaching both men and women. I have worked with women who have experienced childhood abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, loss of a parent early in life, parental abandonment, childhood trauma, relationship breakdowns, infidelity and problematic relationship dynamics. I can help with anxiety, depression, PTSD symptoms, low self-esteem, low self-awareness, lack of boundaries, people pleasing, attachment issues, abandonment fears, and finding your voice and direction in life.

In order to heal and move forward, it would be necessary to look at the following 7 areas:
*Self-Esteem - How highly do you value yourself?
*Self-Awareness - Are you aware of what your place is in the world, how you feel at any given moment and what your authentic-self looks like?
*Relationships - Are you satisfied with the quality of your relationships?
*Childhood - What were your relationships like with your parents, siblings and peers? Were there traumatic events in your childhood? What was your environment like growing up? Were you a part of the community?
*Environment - Does your home, work and broader area contribute to your overall wellbeing or is it a hindrance?
*Nutrition and Movement - Are you doing the best for your mental health by adding the right nutrition and movement to your life?
*Presence - If you are depressed or anxious, it means that your mind is spiralling into the past or into the future. In order to be free, you will need to learn to be present, in the moment that we are in right now.

I am somewhat directive in my approach, but I believe that people know within themselves how to progress forward and that it is my role to help them find their way.

Let me share a little bit about me. I came to the UK by myself when I was 18 and I had to navigate this sensitive time by myself. Like a lot of other people there were many challenges along my path, such as suffering physical and emotional abuse, the loss of my first child, divorce, depression, insecurities, low self-esteem, anxiety and attachment issues to name a few. I learnt to not let these challenges get the better of me, but to use them as steppingstones to strength, resilience and real joy!
I enjoy eating healthy, being in the outdoors and looking after my emotional and physical wellbeing as well as those of others. I care about the people around me and I have a genuine concern for the people that enter my life needing my assistance. If you meet with me you will be met by a warm, patient and understanding person who will want to know the whole you, so that we can get you onto the right path.

I provide a free 20-minute consultation. Follow-on sessions last 50 minutes and are charged at £50 per session.

I provide special rates for students and those under financial difficulty.

Working with Hanli was one of the best choices I have ever made. Hanli made me feel safe, comfortable and supported while working through some very hard issues. I also learnt so much about myself and how to better myself. These sessions changed the way I viewed life and I wish I had come to her sooner.

Hanli is amazing - she has a really calming presence and she made me feel comfortable straight away (which is something I’ve struggled with, with previous therapists). Hanli talked through life traps with me and helped me to understand why I react to certain situations in the way I do. She enabled me to develop mechanisms to deal with triggering situations and improve my communication style. Hanli is also great at communicating offline - I really appreciated her sharing links to articles and books with me, and the kindness of her messages. She clearly really cares about her clients. I couldn’t recommend Hanli highly enough, and I will definitely get back in touch with her in the future if I feel that I need to.

She made me really comfortable and validated my feelings while giving advice on how to progress further, she has made a massive impact in my life and I am very grateful.

Hanli is not only an amazing therapist but beautiful human being. She was kind and patient with lots of empathy towards me and my situation. Hanli was able to hold my space and allow me to open up and speak about uncomfortable truths, something I wasn't able to open up about to previous therapist and therefore alow that part of me to heal. Hanli is also very honest and supportive and if needs to, she is able to outsource help and recommend other avunues that can help in healing. It was a pure pleasure working with you Hanli. Thank you so much for all your help and insight, you are a wonderful therapist x
