An Imperial Cornet, made by Besson & Co in London, England.
It's in good condition for its age, with some natural wear and patina visible on the silver finish.
All valves and slides appear to be working freely, but it could use a good clean and polish to bring out its shine.
Would make a lovely instrument for a student or collector.
