Pay Rate: £13.34 per hour

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm

Breaks: 1-hour unpaid lunch breakThis role offers consistent weekday hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance with no weekend work required.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a Yard Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Working outdoors in all weather conditions, supporting daily yard operations

Providing a high level of customer service by assisting customers with queries and orders

Receiving deliveries and accurately logging all incoming goods

Supporting stock checks and ensuring inventory is correctly recorded

Checking goods for accuracy and quality before loading

Safely loading and unloading materials, ensuring correct handling procedures are followed

Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organised yard environment

Adhering to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working site for staff and customersThis is a varied and active role where no two days are the same.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will:

Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Be physically fit and capable of lifting 25kg+

Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail

Be dependable, punctual, and committed to their role

Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
