Job Title: Yard Operative

Location: Liverpool

Salary: 12.76 per hour plus regular overtime

Job type: Permanent, Full Time

Working hours: Monday - Friday 07.30am - 4:30pm plus regular overtime (Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.30pm paid at time and a half).

About The Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Yard Operative to join our team in Wavertree, Liverpool.

The Yard Operative will assist in the running of a busy builder's yard.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Serve customers quickly and efficientlyCollate orders for deliveryReceive and check incoming deliveriesEnsure paperwork is accurateAssist with regular stock takesMaintain standards of cleanliness and safety within the working environmentUndertake any reasonable task from time to time at the Branch Manager's request as may be deemed appropriate within the scope of the postAbout you:

You must have a Forklift LicenceAn understanding of general building, roofing and timber materialsFlexible 'can-do' attitudeAbility to provide excellent customer serviceAble to work effectively in a team or alone under own initiativeStrong communication skillsExperience cutting timber to size desirable but not essentialPlease click APPLY to submit your CV for this role.
