Yard Labourer/Operative Metal Processing & Recycling GBP13 per hour, GBP27-GBP28.730 per year PAYE Brentwood, Essex (Depot) Full-time, Permanent (PAYE) MUST have own transport due to work location

Yard Labourer/Operative Role Our Client is looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our depot team in Brentwood. The role involves processing redundant metals and materials, preparing them for recycling, keeping the yard safe and organised, and assisting with general maintenance and offloading duties. This is a hands-on, physical role suitable for someone practical, hardworking, and looking for stable full-time work with training and progression.

Yard Labourer/Operative Working Hours Monday to Friday - 42.5 hours a week (30 minute unpaid lunch) Saturday overtime occasionally available at time and a half Yard Labourer/Operative Key Responsibilities Processing redundant metals and materials into skips and containers Using basic hand tools (cutting, separating, preparing materials) Assisting with yard maintenance and general depot duties Operating forklifts and other yard equipment (training provided if required) Carrying out daily checks on equipment and PPE Following all health & safety procedures on site Working as part of a small, supportive team Yard Labourer/Operative Pay & Benefits GBP13/hour PAYE - approx.
