Description
Job Title: Workshop-Based Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Workshop-based with site coverage across Essex & surrounding counties
Hours: Full-time, Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP39,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Requirements: Own tools required Full clean UK Driving Licence essential
About the Role:
Are you an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter looking for a role that offers variety, stability, and a wellequipped modern workshop? We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Workshop-Based Mobile
Plant Fitter to maintain and repair a diverse range of leading-brand equipment, including JCB,
Komatsu, Bomag, Thwaites, Hamm, Powerscreen, John Deere, and Bell.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on a variety of plant andmachineryCarry out PAT testing, PDI inspections, and routine servicingPerform reactive and preventative maintenance, both in the workshop and on-site whenrequiredMaintain accurate service records and documentationAdhere to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices from fault analysis through tocompletion

Excavators, Dumpers & Dump TrucksCrushers, Screeners & Wheeled LoadersDisc Cutters, Generators & Water PumpsLifting Equipment, Hydraulic Attachments & Hand ToolsCompaction Equipment, Skid Steers & Site Cabins
What We re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years experience in a Mobile Plant Fitter roleStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsExpertise in computer diagnosticsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail precise documentation is essentialA team player who is reliable, flexible, and works well under pressureSelf-motivated with the ability to diagnose and repair efficiently
