Hours36 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract DurationInitial 6-month contract

LocationHybrid Working - 3 days per week office-based at Hounslow House

Job Requirements* Lead and deliver transport projects from development through implementation and evaluation.

* Manage sustainable transport, public realm, EV charging, wayfinding and accessibility projects.

* Manage projects up to £250,000 and oversee portfolios up to £500,000.

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed standards.

* Maintain project, financial, procurement and audit records.

* Produce reports, presentations, monitoring data and project evaluations.

* Build relationships with TfL, schools, businesses, councillors and community groups.

* Identify funding opportunities and prepare grant applications up to £250,000.

* Draft committee reports and present to senior stakeholders and elected members.

* Monitor project outcomes, analyse data and measure success of transport initiatives.

Experience Required* Experience managing transport, public realm or travel demand management projects.

* Experience delivering projects in an urban environment.

* Experience managing complex projects with significant budgets (circa £250,000).

* Knowledge of sustainable transport and active travel initiatives.

* Experience preparing reports and briefings for senior decision-makers.

* Strong stakeholder management and partnership working skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Experience with project monitoring, evaluation and data analysis.

* Ability to secure external funding through bid applications.

* Local authority or public sector experience highly desirable
