Telehandler Operator – Long-Term MOD Site

Location: MOD Site

Duration: Long-term / ongoing

Rate: Competitive, depending on experience and tickets

We are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a long-term project on an MOD site.

This is a safety-critical position, so applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety and site procedures. Previous experience working on MOD, military, construction or other highly regulated sites would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

* Safely operate a telehandler in accordance with site and manufacturer requirements.

* Load, unload and move materials around the site.

* Carry out daily pre-use inspections and report defects immediately.

* Follow all site traffic management, lifting and exclusion-zone procedures.

* Work closely with the site team to ensure materials are moved safely and efficiently.

* Maintain a clean and safe working area.

* Comply fully with MOD site security, safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

* Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification.

* Relevant experience operating telehandlers on busy construction or industrial sites.

* Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.

* Ability to work as part of a professional site team.

* Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

* Willingness to undergo any required MOD security clearance/vetting and site induction.

* Safety-critical medical assessment/fitness certification as required for the role.
