Static Fabric Engineer

Description

DK Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to join a facilities maintenance team at a large site in Swindon.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in building maintenance, fabric repairs and general facilities upkeep. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure the site remains safe, functional and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general building fabric repairs and maintenance.

*

Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.

*

Undertake minor repairs to doors, locks, walls, ceilings, flooring and fixtures.

*

Carry out basic plumbing repairs and general maintenance duties where required.

*

Identify and report building defects and potential safety issues.

*

Respond to maintenance requests and ensure work is completed efficiently.

*

Complete maintenance records and job sheets accurately.

*

Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.

*

Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a Fabric Engineer, Building Maintenance or Facilities Maintenance role.

*

Good practical repair and maintenance skills.

*

Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. xjnqpsq

A good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work
