Freelance Site Manager – Internal Fit-Out – Glasgow
Start: 22 October 2026
Duration: Two weeks – holiday cover
Rate: To be agreed depending on experience
Clarkson Owens Recruitment is looking for an experienced freelance Site Manager to provide two weeks of holiday cover on an internal fit-out project within an existing building in Glasgow.
You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate trades and maintain progress, quality and health and safety standards during the cover period.
Responsibilities
* Manage subcontractors, trades and day-to-day site activities.
* Maintain progress against the agreed programme.
* Coordinate materials and deliveries.
* Monitor workmanship against drawings and specifications.
* Maintain site records and communicate progress to the project team.
* Ensure a clear handover with the Site Manager before and after the cover period.
Requirements
* Previous Site Manager experience on internal fit-out or refurbishment projects.
* Ability to take over an established site and manage works independently.
* Strong communication and subcontractor management skills. xjnqpsq
* SMSTS, a relevant CSCS card and First Aid certification.
* Available from 22 October for the full two-week assignment
