Site Manager Housing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor on a long-term residential housing project in London.

The successful candidate will have a strong background managing internal works and finishes on residential or housing developments, with previous experience working for a main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

Manage internal works and finishing packages across the development. Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard. Monitor quality, progress and productivity across the site. Carry out regular inspections and ensure works are completed in line with drawings and specifications. Coordinate with the wider site management and construction team. Manage snagging and ensure outstanding works are closed out efficiently. Maintain high standards of health & safety and site organisation. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to resolve any issues. Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor. Strong residential / housing background. Experience managing internals and finishing works. Strong knowledge of new-build residential construction. SMSTS. CSCS. First Aid. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Able to commit to a long-term freelance position.
