Site Manager – 10-Week Shopfitting Project

Location: Romford, Essex

Duration: 10 Weeks

Start: Monday 10th August

We are looking for an experienced Joinery Site Manager / Foreman to oversee a fast-paced shopfitting project in Romford, Essex

This is a hands-on site management role, responsible for coordinating a team of approximately 15 joinery contractors while ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and supervise a team of around 15 joinery contractors.

* Coordinate daily site activities and maintain programme schedules.

* Produce and update weekly progress reports.

* Monitor and manage project programmes.

* Carry out site inductions for all operatives.

* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

* Liaise with the project team, client, and subcontractors.

* Maintain high standards of workmanship and site organisation.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on joinery or shopfitting projects.

* Strong knowledge of shopfitting and interior fit-out.

* Ability to produce weekly reports and manage project programmes.

* Experience carrying out site inductions and managing health and safety.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills. xjnqpsq

* Valid SMSTS

* Valid CSCS Black card (NVQ Level 6/7)

* First Aid at Work certification is desirable.
