Site Agent

Description

We're looking for an experienced Site Agent to take responsibility for the delivery of a circa £5m CSO scheme in Builth Wells for an established Welsh Water contractor.

This is a delivery-focused role requiring someone who can take ownership of the project as the project lead, manage the site team and drive the scheme safely through programme, quality and commercial milestones.

The Role

Day-to-day management and delivery of the £5m CSO scheme

*

Lead Engineers and Site Supervision

*

Manage direct labour and specialist subcontractors

*

Drive short-term programmes and look-ahead planning

*

Coordinate labour, plant, materials and procurement

*

Manage excavation, drainage, pipelines, chambers and associated civils works

*

Coordinate Temporary Works requirements

*

Ensure RAMS, permits and construction controls are maintained

*

Drive QA, ITPs and handover documentation

*

Monitor productivity and programme performance

*

Identify change and maintain accurate contemporary records

*

Work closely with Commercial and Planning teams

*

Manage client, designer and stakeholder interfaces

*

Chair progress and site coordination meeting

You'll Need

*

Proven Site Agent experience within civil engineering

*

Strong water / wastewater infrastructure experience

*

We're looking for a Site Agent who can take genuine ownership of a £5m scheme – commercially aware, strong with people and capable of keeping delivery xjnqpsq moving when the inevitable site challenges arrive.

Experience delivering projects of comparable size and complexity

*

Strong understanding of deep drainage, pipelines and associated civils

*

Good NEC contractual awareness

*

Strong leadership and programme management capability

*

SMSTS and appropriate CSCS

This is an off-payroll engagement and there is an opportunity to contunue to deliver further projects on the Welsh Water Framework upon completion of this scheme
