Description

Abatec is recruiting for a freelance Site Agent to join a specialist earthworks contractor on a long-term, major civil engineering project in Portsmouth.

The successful candidate will have a previous background in civil engineering and earthworks.

As a Site Agent, you will:

Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring safe and efficient project execution. Support and drive continuous improvement within the project delivery team. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Work closely with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships. Monitor project progress, managing budgets and schedules effectively. Identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays and cost overruns. Lead site teams and foster a positive, safety-focused working environment. Our client requires a Site Agent with:

Valid CSCS SMSTS A good understating of health & safety protocols Excellent communication skills A background in civil engineering Salary and benefits include:
