Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Leeds / Hybrid Working

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to progress your career with a forward–thinking consultancy?

We re currently working on behalf of a well–established and internationally active cost consultancy that delivers expert services across a diverse range of sectors. With a strong presence in the UK and expanding operations overseas, this firm is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Leeds team.

The Role: You ll play a key role in delivering full pre– and post–contract quantity surveying services on a variety of high–profile projects. The role offers excellent exposure, autonomy, and the chance to take ownership of your own workload in a client–facing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Pre–Contract:

Estimating and cost planning

Advising on procurement strategies

Preparing tender documentation and contracts

Measurement and preparation of BoQs

Risk management and value engineering

Cost benchmarking and planning

Post–Contract:

Cost reporting and interim valuations

Managing variations and change control

Final account preparation and negotiation

Addressing and resolving contractual issues

Ideal Candidate: 5+ years experience in a consultancy or contractor environment

BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

RICS qualified or actively working towards chartership

Strong client–facing and communication skills

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
