As a Rotating Equipment Estimator, you'll act as the link between the workshop and the customer, converting engineers' inspection findings into detailed technical reports, repair proposals and quotations.

Working closely with engineers, suppliers and customers, you'll develop repair scopes, build accurate costings and ensure quotations are delivered on time and to a high technical standard.

Apply commercial judgement to pricing and margins. Manage multiple enquiries and quotation deadlines. Provide technical and commercial updates to customers. Maintain accurate quotation records and supporting documentation. Support continuous improvement within estimating and commercial processes. About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

At least 5 years' experience within mechanical engineering. Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and repair processes. Experience producing estimates, quotations or technical reports. The ability to interpret engineering drawings, inspection reports and technical data. Good commercial awareness and costing experience. Excellent written communication and attention to detail. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills. Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers and engineering teams. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word. It would be great if you had:

Knowledge of bearings, seals, alignment, machining and fabrication processes. Experience working with pumps, motors, gearboxes or other rotating equipment.
