Based in Birmingham, the company specialises in mastic asphalt, felt and waterproofing systems for flat roofing, alongside service deck refurbishment, underground car park waterproofing and multi-storey car park surface treatments. Projects span the education, commercial, public sector and residential markets, with a strong reputation for delivering complex works on live and operational sites. Contracts Supervisor Job Overview

Oversee and manage roofing and waterproofing contracts from inception through to completionEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the high quality standards the business is known forCoordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site operatives to ensure smooth project executionConduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and compliance with health and safety regulationsPrepare and maintain project documentation including reports, programmes and site recordsResolve issues or conflicts as they arise, keeping projects on track and clients well informedRepresent the business professionally on site, building strong relationships with clients and consultantsSupport handover, final inspections and quality sign-off

Contracts Supervisor Requirements

Proven experience in the roofing industry with a strong understanding of flat roofing, mastic asphalt, felt or waterproofing systemsExperience of car park waterproofing, service deck refurbishment or specialist surfacing is highly advantageousPrevious supervisory or management experience within construction or roofingSound knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practice on siteConfident communicator with strong client-facing and stakeholder management skillsWell organised with strong problem-solving and reporting abilitiesFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
